It has been reported that some users of the
Xbox 360S (aka Slim) have had an error message stating that to connect to a wireless network you must connect a wireless adapter, even though the Xbox360S has an internal wireless adapter built in.
In many cases this will be a geniune hardware error and the Xbox will need to be repaired but it may also be a glitch as it has been found that if you disconnect all power cables etc and leave the Xbox powered down and disconnected for 5-10mins and then reconnect everything back up the error has gone away.
This obviously will not work in all cases but it is worth trying before arranging a repair.
If the above does not resolve your issue you have a hardware fault, please arrange for a Microsoft repair
